M6 index plunger features a stainless steel spring loaded locating pin enclosed in a zinc plated steel housing. The lift ring provides a convenient way to retract the plunger pin and are typically used where high precision and a locking mechanism are not required. A locking nut is included as standard.
Indexing plungers are used in machine and fixture applications to lock items in place, especially when indexing a range of motion or a series of positions. A typical indexing plunger features a knob or ring attached to a spring loaded pin. When the knob is pulled, the pin is retracted, allowing for free movement.
